Our Response to the COVID-19
As a store that sells products dealing with Japanese culture and anime, Jay Japan is closely monitoring any updates dealing with the COVID-19 (also known as coronavirus). I understand that everyone has to deal with the drastic changes to their daily lives, and I would like to do whatever I can to help you adjust to those changes.
First, I do want to say that you will get your products but please expect some delays since some of our manufacturing facilities are being restricted and disruptions to domestic and international shipping to designated countries. I do understand that you’re excited about your order, but it will take some time and patience in our end to help you out as much as possible.
Next, I do have some bad news for customers in European countries. Because of the continuation of lockdowns in European countries, especially in Italy and Spain, it will be harder for you to receive your orders. I am sincerely sorry for the bad news, and I will do what I can for the customers in European countries.
I do have some good news regarding the products. According to the CDC, there is no evidence that the COVID-19 would transfer to any goods and packages. Since the virus survives up to 24 hours on cardboard, it’s a very low chance the products or the packages would be affected by the virus. So that mainly means your orders and products are all safe and sound.
Overall, I do want to say that I hope everyone is doing OK and is doing whatever they can to be safe and sound. I know it’s a fearful time, but if we stay calm and be smart about our decisions dealing with the coronavirus, then our chances of defeating the virus would be extremely high. While I am not a doctor in any way shape or form, I do want to say protect yourself from getting sick (if you’re not sick). If you are, please go see a doctor as soon as possible to get treatment.
